CAPITULO I

Artículo 1°.-    Objeto. La presente Ley tiene por objeto establecer pautas mínimas que regulen la protección de los animales domésticos, silvestres y exóticos en cautividad. Aquellos animales criados para el aprovechamiento humano, en sus diversas modalidades alimenticias, se regirán por lo establecido para el Servicio Nacional de Calidad y Salud Animal (SENACSA) y demás Leyes especiales que rigen la materia.
